Japanese Learning Tip: Watching Films / Movies
One tip on learning Japanese always would be to
watch Japanese films, documentaries, dramas.
But here's the tip: Watch them in Japanese with
Japanese subtitles on...
Watch Japanese films with JAPANESE subtitles ON.
And watch English films with JAPANESE subtitles ON too.
This is very good for Kanji familiarization,
and practicing reading fast.

Perhaps you'd like to check some Japanese films.
Some recommendations, albeit somewhat old are:
1. 亀は意外と速く泳ぐ Kame wa igai to hayaku oyogu
(Turtles are Surprisingly Good Swimmers)
2. Okuribito
(Departures)
3. 茶の味, Cha no Aji
(The Taste of Tea)
4. 南極料理人 Nankyoku Ryurinin
(The Chef of South Polar)
5. お早よう, Ohayō
(Good morning)
